Confederate soldiers' payment record, 1894-1904.

This series shows disbursements from the state treasury during the fiscal years 1898 through 1904 to recipients of Confederate pensions. Individuals would apply to the Board of Confederate Pension Examiners and if they were bona fide Confederate veterans or their widows, they would receive a pension. Entries in this series include the name of the pension recipient and the amount paid. This information can also be found in the Confederate Veteran Pension Application series (SX-512-2).
